£70,000.00
Default Title - £70,000.00 GBP
Enquire About This Piece.
A rare opportunity to buy a carefully dismantled, Scottish sandstone lodge cottage. It is now sitting on 80 pallets and ready to be shipped worldwide.
The lodge cottage was dismantled from a Scottish estate in West Dunbartonshire, north of the river Clyde.
The cottage comprises of the front and two side elevations of dressed sandstone. The rear elevation is rough stone capped by a triangle of dressed stone.
There are two large nicely carved finials, Height 110cm and three enormous chimneys. The whole of the roof has been capped with sandstone water gullys and approximately 90% of the slate tiles were saved and are in good condition.
The dressed blocks are all the same height, approximately 35cm high, the same in depth and they vary in length, this would make re configuration very simple. There is approximately 940 square feet of dressed stone and several pallets of rough stone.
You will see that there are some tatty site drawings, as the cottage was dismantled in a howling rain and snow storm.
Also included is a drawing of an alternative configuration of the cottage to create a larger sandstone facade, using most of the elements.
