Lignum Vitae Manger Blocks

 Lignum Vitae Manger Blocks/Bobbins/Balls, from the heavy horse stud in Montrave, Fife Scotland. These were used to give a horse freedom to move within the stable for safety measures. They are decorative pieces and make unusual candle holders.
